Nicole Francis of 1776 Faux Farmhouse is a talented content creator well-versed in her field. With a passion for DIY home design and renovation work, she has become an expert in transforming ordinary houses into something extraordinary. Nicole works with her husband, Michael Francis, as part of the husband-wife content creator duo. Together, they have taken the world of DIY projects and home decor by storm.
The couple’s passion for making builder-grade homes come alive is inspiring, and their Instagram page is the evidence of their successful work. They have completed a number of great projects, from a butler’s pantry and in-house office to a stunning fireplace – Nicole managed it all. With each project, they never fail to surprise their fans with their impeccable craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Michael and Nicole bought their first home back in 2017. According to Nicole, it was one of the cheapest houses in the entire neighborhood, and they spent little to nothing on builder upgrades. To increase the value of their home, the couple started doing smaller-scale projects. But soon after their daughter’s birth, they realized they needed more space to accommodate their family.
Considering their experience with a builder-grade home on a smaller scale, the duo took on a different builder-grade home and began to do bigger-scale projects this time at 1776 Faux Farmhouse.
Let’s have a little sneak peek into their mesmerizing home.
It’s a small, classic barn-style house with a stunning black and white facade that stops passers-by in their tracks. The entrance is landscaped beautifully and ornamented with artificial plants, creating a relaxing and refreshing atmosphere. While renovating their house, Nicole followed a minimalistic approach and used only the necessary furniture pieces to ensure each corner of their peaceful abode appeared aesthetically pleasing.
For the interior, she opts for a Modern Farmhouse vibe. The walls are painted with a neutral paint scheme with Pale Oak by Benjamin Moore, while the floor is covered with light laminate, contrasting the dark, rustic furniture pieces. The fireplace is by far the most stunning upgrade, adding genuine aesthetic value to the space. The Roman Clay paint job and the enchanting fireplace panel in the center make this room look really gorgeous and breathtaking.
From the basement to the kitchen and kid’s room, the creative duo made sure to give an exquisite appeal to every corner of this beautiful house.
