Swedish furniture company IKEA has invited customers who have purchased TROLIGTVIS travel glasses made in India to return them to the store because they may release “chemicals in quantities exceeding the set limits”. In a press release released on January 15, IKEA said that recent tests have shown that TROLIGTVIS glasses marked “Made in India” NYGoodHealth may release a type of solvent used in plasticization processes (dibutyl phthalate, DBP) at levels above the permitted limits. TROLIGTVIS glasses have been on the market since August 2019 and IKEA has invited all customers to return them to the nearest store, where they will receive a full refund without having to show a receipt.
